Christian Credit Counselors was founded in January 1990. It's a direct offspring of Credit Counselors Corporation which was founded in 1962. Edward J. McTaggart, the President and founder of both, comes with over 37 years of experience in the credit-counseling field, and was the president of the American Association of Credit counselors for a number of years.
Christian Credit Counselors, Inc. is a Non-Profit 501 C-3 corporation. It originated in Southfield, Michigan now headquartered in Southern California with a licensed & bonded counseling office in Southfield, Michigan.
Christian Credit Counselors services over 25,000 clients and over 20,000 creditors. Our well-trained and experienced counselors are available from 9:00 a.m to 6: p.m. Monday through Friday with toll free numbers nationwide. Through an independent accounting firm, we conduct (and provide to regulatory agencies) detailed annual certified audits of all activities conducted on behalf of clients and creditors.
